CTI in Raleigh, NC is seeking an AV Design Engineer to translate client concepts into commercial AV system designs that are clear, coordinated, and ready for build. You will work across teams to move projects from concept through execution, ensuring CTI standards and budget alignment.

Responsibilities include designing AV systems for conference rooms, creating signal flow diagrams with Visio/CAD, and coordinating with sales, PMs, BIM/CAD, IT, and other stakeholders to keep designs buildable and

Formación

• 3+ years of experience designing commercial AV systems.
• Strong experience producing AV documentation and drawings using Visio and CAD.
• Ability to select equipment and develop solutions aligned to standards and budget.
• Communication skills for cross-team coordination.
• Collaborative yet independent with curiosity to ask technical questions.

Responsabilidades

• Design complete commercial AV systems for conference rooms, boardrooms, training spaces, and enterprise environments.
• Create AV signal flow diagrams, system drawings, and project documentation using Visio and CAD.
• Review scope and kickoff information to clarify requirements.
• Select equipment and define architecture aligned with CTI standards and budgets.
• Collaborate with Sales, PMs, BIM/CAD teams, architects, IT, and electrical stakeholders.
• Provide technical direction and QA on drawings for field confidence.
• Support execution with design adjustments and procurement clarifications.
