Job summary
Henkel is seeking a Commercial Application Engineer in the Adhesive Technologies unit to drive technically guided market initiatives and new applications. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage PD projects, and coordinate global development for end-use applications.
The role requires a strong technical background in electrical/electronics, mechanical and chemical engineering, with travel up to 50% domestically and a focus on safety and lab operations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical/electronics engineering preferred.
- Chemical or mechanical engineering acceptable with electronics experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.
Responsibilities
- Contribute technically to market and application initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute technical strategy at customers.
- Drive PD and innovation projects for portfolio gaps with KPI applications.
- Develop technical capability standards for markets and applications new to Henkel.
- Own North American projects and coordinate global teams for cross regional development.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Provide direct AE support to drive growth.
- Support key accounts with technical inputs and opportunities from inquiries.
