Apex Multifamily Builders in Austin, TX seeks a Commercial and Multifamily Construction Project Manager to oversee the full construction cycle from conception to completion.

You will work with clients, architects, engineers, and construction pros to ensure on-time delivery, within budget, and client satisfaction. The role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with PM software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project management and the construction industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction materials, equipment, project management, and QA processes.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and other industry-related technology.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong financial and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and define project goals and objectives, including scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Oversee planning and implementation of construction projects with architects and engineers.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors for profitable agreements.
  • Manage and supervise construction procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare detailed milestone reports.
  • Manage the budget and track costs to stay within financial plan.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and organized Commercial and Multifamily Construction Project Manager to join our growing team. In this position, you will coordinate and oversee the construction process from conception to completion. You will work directly with clients, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and define project goals and objectives, including scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of construction projects, including coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
  • Manage and supervise construction procedures and processes to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress regularly and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Manage the budget, track project costs, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the project is completed within the financial plan.
  • Ensure that all work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders about progress and any changes or issues that arise.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the project team and stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.
  • Oversee project closeout, including conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful project elements and areas for improvement.
