Job summary

GEICO is seeking an Agency Operations Manager for the Commercial segment covering AR/KS/MO/OK. You will drive growth by expanding GEICO’s agency distribution, managing 120–150 truck and commercial specialist accounts, and applying best practices to improve field and call sales proficiency.

You will lead agency relationships, implement onboarding and training programs, and collaborate with product management to identify new opportunities. Overnight travel will be 40%–50% within the Midwest region.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the personal and commercial lines and related coverages in all sizes and shapes of agencies.

Responsibilities

• Prospects, interviews, and approvals of new appointments to expand GEICO’s agency distribution.
• Manage agents within a designated area of responsibility using in person, virtual, phone, and email to build relationships, deliver trainings, and manage agency performance.
• Analyzes territory to understand where to spend time and resources to detail and execute a strategic plan to achieve growth and profitability goals.
• Prepares and documents effective pre-call strategies and identifies new areas to aid the agency in growing its Company written premium.
