Job summary

Capital Insurance Group is seeking an Underwriting Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate training for underwriting staff across Commercial and Agriculture lines. You will work with regional managers and subject matter experts to keep content current and impactful, and manage multiple training initiatives from inception to evaluation.

The role emphasizes hands-on training across all levels of underwriting, with a focus on processes, policies, and systems, under the direction of the Director -

Qualifications

• Degree in education and at least one year experience in insurance or finance underwriting or minimum 5 years background in training, or underwriting lead/management role in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, facilitate and monitor training activities and training program effectiveness.
• Create and evaluate training and reference material; assess employee development linked to training.
• Lead new and existing training projects with subject matter experts across the organization.
• Hands-on trainer across all underwriting levels to ensure fundamentals, processes and systems are learned.
