Job summary

Capital Insurance Group is seeking an Underwriting Trainer to develop, implement, and deliver training for underwriting staff across Commercial and Agriculture lines. You will collaborate with regional managers and SMEs to keep content current and impactful, and lead multiple training projects with independence under the Director of Underwriter Development & Audit.

The role targets experienced trainers with a background in insurance or underwriting, strong communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Degree in education and 1+ year in underwriting or 5+ years in training/lead roles.
• Ability to facilitate instructor-led training live and virtual.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to collaborate with peers and management across the organization.
• Proficient with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
