Job summary

WM is seeking a Collections professional to manage and optimize the recovery of commercial accounts for WM Recycle America. You will collaborate with Billing, Cash Applications, Account Managers and customers to update collection status and deliver timely responses.

The role requires an eye for detail, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs/pivot tables) and the ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment. Prior experience in accounts collections and reporting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Ability to analyze reconciling commercial accounts monthly.
• Experience supporting collections processes with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform collection activity for assigned WM Recycle America Commercial Accounts.
• Coordinate with Billing, Cash Applications, Account Managers and Customers to resolve collection status.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Accounting leadership as needed.
• Report monthly on outstanding accounts and issues.
• Maintain detailed delinquent account information and expectations.
