Job summary

CFS in Hartford, CT is seeking a Commercial Accounting & Operations Manager to bridge Operations and Accounting, ensuring accurate end-to-end transaction flow from customer orders to billing and revenue recognition.

You will lead a five-person team, collaborate across Sales, Service, IT, and leadership, and drive process improvements with ERP optimization to ensure financial accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong understanding of A/P, A/R, invoicing, purchasing, revenue recognition, and General Ledger.
• ERP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Operations and Accounting, ensuring accurate transaction flow through A/P, A/R, invoicing, revenue recognition, and the General Ledger.
• Lead the end-to-end order-to-cash process from customer order through billing, collections, and financial reporting.
• Manage and develop a five-person team supporting order administration, purchasing, invoicing, and transaction processing.
• Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Sales, Service, IT, and leadership to improve processes, strengthen controls, and ensure financial accuracy.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements and ERP optimization.
