Job Title:

Commercial Account Manager

Key Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are required to service our clients and support the growth of the agency. These are primarily managed by an administrative assistant but are ultimately the account manager's responsibility:

• Service and market new and renewal business.
• Prepare carrier submissions for new and renewal policies.
• Create quotes and proposals for clients.
• Bind business and invoice promptly.
• Process policies and communicate with clients.
• Handle endorsements, certificates, MVRs, loss runs, etc.
• Verify and send premium audits.
• Assist with claims processing.
• Support other account needs as necessary.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will manage a generalist book of business, focusing on contracting, property owners, retailers, manufacturers, etc.

• At least 5 years of independent agency experience.
• At least 2 years’ experience in the FL market is highly preferred.
• Experience with Applied Epic agency management system required.
• Proficiency in all commercial lines of business.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Experience in servicing and marketing, with administrative support.
