Job Description

We’re looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join Procore’s Sales team. In this role, you’ll serve as the main point of contact for existing strategic mid-size accounts, leveraging your understanding of Procore’s products and processes to maximize renewals and expansion. You’ll collaborate with Customer Success, other Sales members, and Product Solution Specialists to maintain and expand our customer revenue base.

This position can be based remotely from a US location or in our Carpinteria, CA, Austin, TX, or Tampa, FL offices. We are interested in candidates who are eager to learn more about sales opportunities at Procore or in the future if/when a position becomes available.

What you’ll do:
  1. Serve as the main point of contact for your geographic territory by developing customer relationships, highlighting the value of Procore and its product suite, and increasing customer attachment to Procore.
  2. Work cross-functionally with Inside Sales Reps, Product Solution Specialists, and Customer Success Engineers to drive product adoption, ensure customer retention, increase spend on existing products (upsell), and promote attachment to new products (cross-sell).
  3. Research accounts, identify key champions, generate interest, and gather business requirements.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts; provide sales management with reports on sales activities and projects as requested.
  5. Research competitors to ensure our value proposition is effectively communicated to customers.
  6. Manage and maintain accurate leads, opportunities, and account information within Salesforce.com.
  7. Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
  8. Coordinate internal resources to resolve client issues and execute service agreements.
  9. Conduct periodic travel for client onsite visits.
What we’re looking for:
  • 5+ years of successful software sales experience, preferably B2B.
  • Experience with consultative, solution-based sales methodology is preferred.
  • Proven success in an inside sales environment.
  • Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships.
  • Experience with post-sale revenue expansion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools.
  • Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to develop and manage sales pipeline and forecasting.
Additional Information

Base Pay Range: $43.00 - $60.00 hourly plus commission, with estimated on-target earnings of $148,000 - $203,000. This role is also eligible for Equity Compensation. Compensation will depend on skills, experience, education, and location.
