The right candidate for this position will have a demonstrated history of success in selling software & services, preferably in the Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Analytics space. The ability to work independently in a rapidly growing environment is important, as is the ability to work with an early-stage technical product that provides real value to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

The Commercial Account Executive will develop and manage a territory of "Digital Native" Commercial accounts, with a primary focus on winning new ThoughtSpot customers. Pipeline generation is the lifeblood of this sales role; therefore we seek those who embrace prospecting and make it a core of their business activities. You will spend your time developing new opportunities, establishing trust and credibility with end‑users, influencers, and decision makers at all levels of your assigned accounts, conducting product demonstrations in person and via web‑based technologies, and managing complex sales cycles with large companies.
The estimated annual range for this role is $115k–$165k per year, varying based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits.
This office‑assigned role is available as a hybrid position, reporting to the office in Chicago. Spotters assigned to an office are encouraged to experience the energy of their local office with an in‑office expectation of 2–3 days per week.
