Job summary

Transdev is seeking a detail-oriented operations coordinator in Phoenix, AZ to support global fleet and dispatch activities. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and collaboration across multiple teams while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to policies.

You will monitor autonomous vehicle operations, assist with JIT staffing and mission assignments, and help identify performance gaps from data streams, contributing to continuous improvement and excellent service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate consolidation of tasks across global locations for flawless operations.
  • Ensure daily service is dispatched and performed as required.
  • Address operational alerts from multiple units and enforce policies.
  • Monitor health of autonomous vehicle fleet and Transdev operators.
  • Assist with dispatch, staffing, testing, and communications for daily operations.
  • Review data streams to identify performance gaps and report to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with global standards and pursue continuous improvement.
  • Maintain routine records and carry out clerical duties for global operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information and perform other duties as needed.

Competitive compensation package of $24.00 – $28.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the goal of consolidating tasks for numerous global locations to ensure flawless execution of operations
  • Ensure all service is performed as dispatched daily
  • Action operational alerts from multiple business units, including ownership of Transdev and client fatigue and mobile device policies
  • Monitor health of Client Autonomous Vehicle fleet and Transdev operators
  • Support client’s operations leadership team in daily operations dispatch, including JIT staffing and mission assignments, assisting with validation testing, and communicating with various teams
  • Review multiple data streams to identify operational performance gaps and assist with bridging to Client and Operations Leadership
  • Ensure compliance with global process standards and work on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain routine records and perform a variety of clerical work activities related to global Transdev operations
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality of all information
  • Perform any other duties as required
Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)
  • Degree in Communications, Business, Logistics, Operations, or related field (preferred)
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Physical Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to manipulate; handle or feel; reach with hands or arms; and talk and hear
  • Must be able to withstand working outdoors in inclement weather
  • Frequently required to sit
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 45 pounds
  • May work in extreme heat and cold, and in damp environment with moderate noise
  • Remaining work is in an office or cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer; time spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer
Pre‑Employment Requirements
  • Must be 21 years old
  • All Transdev employees must satisfactorily complete a pre‑employment drug screen and background check (Safety Sensitive Positions will also be subject to a physical screening)
  • Transdev maintains a Drug Free Workplace and may require participation in a random drug screening program
  • Transdev reserves the right to perform ongoing background checks for all employees (except in states where prohibited by state law). Transdev will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements
