Job summary

Elmer's Home Services is seeking a Comfort Advisor/Sales Representative in Grapevine, TX to analyze customer needs, design HVAC system proposals, close sales, and ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires effective communication, relationship-building, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

You will diagnose system issues, recommend repairs or replacements, and promote maintenance programs while traveling to customer locations daily.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required (3–5 years)
• Sales experience in a customer-facing role is required
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills preferred
• Valid Driver’s License required

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with HVAC solutions and home comfort options

Job description

We are seeking a customer-centric and passionateComfort Advisorto join our team. The Comfort Advisor/Sales Representative position will consist of analyzing customer needs for HVAC equipment, create a sales proposal, finalize the saleand follow up with each customer to ensure complete satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Provide customers with solutions for their HVAC and other home comfort needs
• Consult with potential and existing customers to provide a customized HVAC system solution including our exclusive maintenance program
• Serve as the leader of the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction
• Conduct post-sale follow-up to ensure all sales agreements have been fulfilled to customer satisfaction
• Follow-up with existing sales bids and leads to offer any additional information as needed to convert them into sales
• Overcome technical and business objections of prospective customers
• Emphasize salable features, quotes, prices and credit terms and prepare sales orders for jobs sold
• Build and maintain customer relationships
• Participate in various sales activities to support corporate efforts including, but not limited to, trade shows, referral groups, etc.
• Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends
• 3-5 years HVAC air conditioning experience required
• Travel to homes and businesses daily as scheduled
• Troubleshooting the electrical systems in the AC and diagnostic repairs
• new equipment, and high-end communicating systems.
• Conducting maintenance, and repairs on air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Diagnose system issues, make recommendations for repairs or replacements, and ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Repair and diagnose HVAC systems with excellent troubleshooting skills ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and air conditioning units, utilizing schematics and mechanical knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) preferred
• At least 5 years of previous sales experience
• Valid Driver’s License
