General Dynamics Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine, seeks an Engineering Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) to provide technical leadership for CS/C4I ship alterations aboard DDG 51 class ships. The role supports modernization design, construction, and testing in a fast‑paced, multi‑location environment.

You will coordinate with Navy and contractor teams, develop technical data packages, and lead SID package development while ensuring safety, schedules, and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering or related experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership for Combat System/C4I ship alterations aboard DDG 51 class ships. Interface with Navy, Navy Contractors, BIW Design, and BIW management.
• Assemble Technical Data and Government Furnished Information into packages for Ship Installation.
• Develop and review Ship Alteration Technical Data and Ship Change Documents for assigned Ship Alts.
• Support waterfront engineering during installation during CNO Availabilities.
• Occasional travel is required.
• Foster cross‑functional collaboration and communicate effectively with team leads.
