Job summary

In-Depth Engineering seeks Combat Systems Installation Engineers to support the Aegis Ship Integration and Test program in Bath, ME. You will review design drawings, inspect combat system equipment, troubleshoot, and support ship modernization efforts on-site at Bath, ME.

Applicant must be a US citizen with an active DoD secret clearance; a Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or 8+ years of relevant experience is required, with travel up to 30% to domestic sites.

Responsibilities

• Review design drawings and conduct installation inspections of combat system equipment.
• Inspect equipment and cabling during installation to identify problems and provide solutions.
• Support engineering analysis during installation and test phases of ship modernization.
• Identify changes to drawings and participate in re-installation and hands-on troubleshooting.
• Participate in design reviews and provide installation and operational support.
• Provide real-time feedback to ship design organizations.
