General Dynamics - Bath Iron Works in Brunswick, ME, seeks an Engineering Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) to provide technical leadership for CS/C4I Ship Alterations and to support modernization design, construction, and testing for in‑service Navy DDG 51/1000 programs.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering is required.
Engineer I 0–1 years’ experience.
Strong safety leadership and ability to work across office, manufacturing, and shipboard environments.
Experience interfacing with NAVSEA, Navy Contractors, BIW Class Design and BIW management is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead Safety Leadership to comply with BIW safety and security standards.
Serve as Technical Point of Contact for Combat System/C4I modernization aboard DDG 51 class ships.
Interface with the Navy, Navy Contractors, BIW Class Design, and BIW management.
Assemble Technical Data and Government Furnished Information (GFI) into packages for Ship Installation and SID development.
Provide technical leadership for Ship Alteration data and ROM estimates; write/review Ship Change Documents (SCDs).
Occasional travel is required.
