Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Logistics Associate in Tampa, FL to coordinate trailer movement, prepare shipping paperwork, and assist dock operations. You will work with drivers, carriers, and warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and secure deliveries.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience with Walmart Logistics, including clerical related responsibilities (e.g., filing, data entry) using computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing)
• 1 year experience creating files, documents (e.g., emails, letters), spreadsheets, and datasets using computer applications (e.g., MS-Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates).
• Organizes shipping processes by coordinating and monitoring trailer movement (yard, carriers) and assisting leadership with dock/trailer utilization.
• Supports shipping process documentation by completing pickup/delivery paperwork, verifying shipping papers, and issuing seals for trailers.
• Ensure freight is loaded onto trailers by moving freight manually or with powered equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a culture of belonging, respect, and inclusion.
• Deliver results while prioritizing customer and associate needs and maintaining high standards of integrity and compliance.

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.95 - $24.45* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
