Contract Land Staff, LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Right of Way Supervisor to oversee field supervision of a project and lead survey permission, acquisition, and construction support efforts.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years in Right of Way, 1-3+ years supervising ROW projects, and be local to Columbus with willingness to travel. Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-7+ years of Right of Way experience.
• Must have 1-3+ years supervising Right of Way projects.
• Must be local to Columbus, OH.
• Must be willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of Title Supervisor, Lead Administrative Land Specialist, and other personnel on the project.
• Negotiate property purchases, analyze appraisals, and advise client using real estate practices.
• Represent the client in complex negotiations with property owners and attorneys.
• Advise on whether to pursue condemnation or negotiations, and assist in litigation prep as needed.
• Prepare lawsuit packages for condemnation proceedings and serve as expert witness if required.
• Provide project updates to the Officer in Charge and client; ensure tasks are completed.
• Discipline underperforming staff and assist with acquisitions as needed.
