Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) invites students to join its Summer Internship Program in Columbus, OH for a 10–12 week, paid internship. You will work on real supply chain projects, mentored by leaders and gain exposure to the electric utility industry while contributing meaningfully to ongoing initiatives.

Applicants must pursue a degree in ABET-accredited Engineering, Data Science, or a Business degree with a supply chain focus, have completed freshman year, be 18+, and be willing to relocate

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in ABET-accredited Engineering, Data Science, or Supply Chain/Business.
Must have completed at least your freshman year and be 18+ years old.
Graduation date of December 2027 or later; not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Perform studies and projects related to supply chain functions within the department.
Collaborate with project teams on planning, design and execution of enterprise resource initiatives.
Assist in analysis, reporting and interpretation of information for management decisions.
Maintain departmental records and prepare statements relating to operating activities.
