Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care AG in Columbus, OH is seeking an on-site Registered Nurse for outpatient dialysis care. The RN CAP 2 role focuses on delivering and coordinating clinically competent care for an assigned patient group.

You will lead, educate, and collaborate with the care team, including delegating tasks and contributing to quality improvement, while meeting state licensure and CPR/BLS requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Entry level RN with minimum 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff (RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians).
• Participate in decision-making, education, leadership, and quality improvement activities.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document justification and effectiveness.
