Qualifications

• Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or hospital business development.
• Strong knowledge of Newark and Greater Columbus healthcare market.
• Ability to develop referral relationships and drive growth.
• Understanding of post-acute referral and discharge planning.
• Ability to communicate clinical capabilities to healthcare professionals.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.
• Willingness to travel across Newark, Columbus and Central Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital case managers, social workers, discharge planners, physicians, utilization review teams, and other referral sources.
• Represent Garden Springs Healthcare portfolio and educate partners on capabilities, programs, payer options.
• Maintain a strong presence within key hospital accounts.
• Identify new hospital relationships and opportunities to expand presence.
• Become a trusted resource for discharge planning and post-acute placement.
• Drive referral volume, admission conversion, and census growth.
• Collaborate with Centralized Admissions & Intake to ensure timely review and follow-up.
• Coordinate admissions with facility teams and hospital partners.
• Conduct bedside visits and family meetings as needed.
• Track referral patterns and opportunities for growth.
• Participate in hospital meetings, networking, and events.
• Maintain follow-up after admission to strengthen relationships.
• Develop market-specific strategies with leadership.
