Job summary

SRG Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for River House in Columbus, OH. Join a premier multifamily property management firm with a strong portfolio and national platform. Responsibilities include turnover work, repairs, and after-hours coverage to support residents and buildings.

The ideal candidate has trades experience across electrical, plumbing, drywall, and more, plus strong customer service and OSHA/MSDS knowledge. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint and appliances.
• 1 year of demonstrated knowledge and skill in performing quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret service orders and safety rules.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Turnover and renovation work and response to maintenance requests.
• Repair external and internal components such as drywall, painting, plumbing, appliances, boilers and HVAC, and common areas.
• Participate in emergency and after-hours coverage.
• Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures.
• Fabricate and repair cabinets, counters, benches, partitions, and wooden structures.
• Maintain inventory and related paperwork.
• Keep storage facilities and equipment in good condition.
