Job summary

Coastal Ridge Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Specialist - HVAC for the Columbus market to troubleshoot, repair, and replace HVAC systems and appliances across communities in the greater Columbus area. The role is field‑based, with a company vehicle provided for site travel and opportunities to lead site maintenance initiatives.

You will train site teams on HVAC and appliance repair, supervise maintenance staff, and collaborate with Property Managers to deliver exceptional resident service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years’ experience in maintenance/HVAC/appliance repair.
• EPA Certification (Type I and II) required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first contact for high‑level HVAC and appliance issues beyond site teams.
• Define and implement training for site team employees on HVAC systems and appliances.
• Identify, vet, and select site‑level vendors; conduct negotiations and onboarding.
• Execute the property’s preventative maintenance plan to maintain curb appeal and structural integrity.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required; travel between Columbus area sites.
