General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp. in Groton, CT, seeks a Columbia Design Task Program Supervisor to oversee the Columbia Class program design tasks and CLIN1000 financial performance.

You will coordinate with NAVSEA, EB leadership, and cross-functional teams to keep tasks on schedule, on budget, and aligned with program goals. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and process discipline, with exposure to design, engineering, planning, and procurement functions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Contract, Program Office, Design, Engineering, or Program Finance.
• Project management and team leadership experience.
• Basic understanding of EVM principles.

Mansioni

• Acting as the primary point of contact with NAVSEA and EB senior management for tasks.
• Maintaining a highly functional, interdisciplinary task team that adheres to quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Preparation and coordination of meetings to demonstrate progress, challenges, and resolution plans for program tasking and Clin1000 financial performance.
• Reporting of task status to EB management and PMS397.
• Conducting design reviews with the Navy leadership regarding task progress, schedule, costs and issues.
• Creating and analyzing program metrics, identifying issues and leading required corrective actions.
• Developing and helping others to develop project execution schedules.
• Resolving technical and funding issues to ensure roadblocks are removed.
• Working closely with engineering task leads to drive solutions that support both technical and program objectives.
• De-conflicting competing priorities and managing program risk.
