Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a medical assisting program preferred, six months healthcare experience, and BLS certification.

• Graduation from a medical assisting program preferred.
• Six months of healthcare experience required.
• Knowledge of Bloodborne Pathogen Standard is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs phlebotomy and prepares specimens for labs.
• Takes vital signs and prepares patients for procedures.
• Provides general clinical support to physicians and staff.
• Answers phones, schedules appointments, and collects co-pays.
• Assists with billing and updates the EMR with patient information.
