Job summary

BURNCO Rock Products Inc. is seeking an experienced Ready-Mix Operations Manager based in Colorado to lead safety, productivity, and efficiency across our ready-mix operations.

You will oversee the area management team, coordinate plant and fleet maintenance, and drive performance improvements while maintaining a strong safety culture. This role requires travel up to 75% and close collaboration with Sales, Dispatch, and HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of related industry experience.
• Experience leading business enterprises with broad responsibilities, including safety, operations, and team building.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, including motivating others, resolving conflicts, and building effective teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact across all levels.
• Excellent proactive problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to operations staff regarding production and delivery of ready-mixed concrete.
• Create a strong safety culture and an environment of accountability and teamwork.
• Collaborate with General Managers to improve profitability through P&L and reporting tools.
• Train, mentor, and motivate the management team.
• Oversee safety, productivity, and efficiency across plant and fleet operations.
• Prepare reports and presentations related to proposals and results.
