Job summary

BURNCO is seeking a Ready-Mix Operations Manager in Colorado to lead the area management team across concrete production and delivery, including plant and fleet maintenance, quality control, and site operations.

This full-time role emphasizes safety culture, productivity, and customer satisfaction, with extensive travel to plant locations and job sites, requiring strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related or applicable field preferred.
• 10+ years of related industry experience with safety and operations leadership.
• Proven ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to operations staff for ready-mixed concrete production and delivery.
• Foster a strong safety culture and accountability within the team.
• Partner with General Managers on profitability through P&L reporting.
• Train, mentor and motivate the management team.
• Collaborate with departments to improve quality, service and safety.
• Oversee capital projects, production planning, and inventory.
• Manage vendor pricing, procurement and material resources.
• Prepare reports and conduct monthly company-wide reviews.
