Job summary

BURNCO Rock Products Ltd is hiring Ready-Mix Drivers in Colorado to operate a ready-mix truck, deliver concrete on time, and uphold safety standards at our Milliken plant and nearby sites.

The role requires a CDL, 2 years of ready-mix or 1 year of commercial driving experience, and a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork in a field-based, safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of ready-mix experience or one year of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
• Attendance with flexibility to work irregular hours, including Saturdays.
• Willingness to work from other BURNCO plants as needed.
• Calm, professional behavior in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to learn ready-mix designs and material components.
• Commitment to safety, customer service and teamwork.
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration is required for all CDL drivers.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a ready-mix truck and ensure timely deliveries and accurate orders.
• Perform daily maintenance checks and keep the truck clean.
• Report minor mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free plant and job-site area.
• Follow BURNCO policies and all regulations (DOT, driving standards).
• Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections (DVIRs) and work orders on time.
• Elevate operational or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Crosstrain in other areas to support team operations.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
