Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, LLC is seeking a Color & Curl Concierge who specializes in color and texture consulting to support salons, barbers and licensed cosmetologists. You will drive color sales, educate customers, and maintain visual merchandising to reflect brand standards.

The role requires retail sales experience, a cosmetology license preferred in US/Canada, strong communication, social media savvy, and willingness to travel for shows and meetings; expect comprehensive product education

Qualifications

• One year retail or other sales-focused experience.
• Licensed cosmetologist highly preferred in US and Canada.
• Reliable transportation to service designated store and market.
• Willingness to travel to shows/meetings at least 3 times a year.
• Strong business acumen and ability to read and act on sales reporting.
• Working knowledge of retail sales, inventory control and visual merchandising.
• Strong knowledge of POS applications.
• Knowledge of computers, iPads, mobile devices and social media platforms.
• Commitment to scheduled hours with flexibility for extra hours.
• May work in other stores/field as needed.
• Strong time management and organization skills; multi-project handling.
• Present a professional image; positive public interaction.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must pass Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Determine customer color and care needs and offer professional advice and recommendations.
• Communicate with team regarding calls, visits, orders, and status of sales progress.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively.
• Maintain color and curl merchandising, signage and displays per brand guidelines.
• Stay informed on trends and market changes; share industry knowledge with partners.
• Perform opening/closing procedures; handle bank deposits and cash transactions.
• Demonstrate CosmoProf/BSG culture values and adhere to ethics.
