Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Colocation Development Manager based in Seattle, WA (also Austin or IAD). You will lead end-to-end colocation development, conduct market and financial analysis, and negotiate contracts to grow Amazon’s data center portfolio. The role requires strong business, financial, and technical skills, with travel about 25% and cross‑functional collaboration with product, legal, design and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 2–5 years developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• 2–5 years of professional or military experience.
• 2–5 years advising and influencing executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead colocation development from site selection through project completion, including financial analysis and negotiations.
• Formulate long-term development strategies for markets to senior management.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across product, legal, tax, energy, design, construction.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
