Job summary

Caliber Collision in Elgin is hiring for a collision repair technician. You will perform precise repairs from fenders to frames, using your frame and structural know-how to restore vehicles to factory specs.

We value experience, meticulous attention to detail, and a team-first attitude. You’ll work with painters, estimators, and front office staff, with a safe, well-equipped shop and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands-on collision repair experience.
• Ability to pull, straighten and square frames.
• Commitment to quality with no shortcuts.
• Attention to bolts, welds and finished alignments.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint and execute repairs precisely, with no shortcuts.
• Full collision repair from minor to major damage.
• Panel and structural work to return to factory specs.
• Quality reassembly with proper fit and finish.
• Work as a team with painters, estimators, and front office staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
