Classic Collision is seeking an experienced Collision Repair Technician to join our Shepherdsville, KY area shop. This role involves inspecting vehicles, disassembly, metal work, welding and reassembly to factory specs, while following safe, efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• 2–3 years collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must read and follow written instructions accurately.
• Background check required.
• Demonstrates integrity, teamwork, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles to aid estimators in planning a 100% repair.
• Identify repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedures according to work orders.
• Remove upholstery, electrical components to access damaged area; store parts properly.
• Repair body by hammering and welding, ensure proper gaps and fit.
• Operate hand and power tools such as welders and grinders.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before paint.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned and follow SOPs.
• Adhere to safety rules and company guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized work area.
