Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore safety and quality. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and collaboration with estimators and paint staff.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Integrity, respect and accountability at every level.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage and preparing a 100% Repair Plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedure: follow work order for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery and parts to access damaged area and store parts securely.
• Mend damaged body by hammering out or filling dents and welding parts; ensure gaps and fits meet standards.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, sander, etc.).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning vehicle over to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Comply with Classic Collision procedures and safety guidelines.
