The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Apprentice Technician at our Wayzata Collision Center. This training position offers hands-on experience to become a full Automotive Technician, with supervision from a Journeyman Technician.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to mid-level technicians encouraged to apply.
• 0–3 years of collision repair experience or hands-on training.
• Willingness to learn and grow technical skills.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team mindset.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• I-CAR and/or ASE certifications (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Repair and restore vehicles alongside experienced technicians.
• Perform body repairs, R&R, prep work, and damage assessments.
• Communicate repair progress and flag issues early.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Follow safety standards, PPE requirements, and regulations.
• Other duties assigned by management.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our nextApprentice Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. Located at our Wayzata Collision Center, theApprentice Technician role is a training position to become an Automotive Technician. Associates must be able to safely operate shop equipment and demonstrate the ability to learn and repeat basic mechanical repairs. Individuals selected for this position receive hands on training by a Journeyman Technician.
