Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a Production Assistant to support the General Manager by ensuring the availability of parts and materials for repair teams. The role involves coordinating disassembly, production staging, and daily huddles to keep repair plans on track and dashboards current.

You will proactively communicate changes, manage tool and equipment readiness, and guide porters, detailers, and sublet partners to keep vehicles moving through production.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a collision repair environment preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials and parts are available for technicians via the WOW plan.
• Oversee disassembly flow and coordinate production staging for vehicles.
• Manage parts intake, storage, and dispatch to technicians and subsuppliers.
• Communicate variances to repair plans and keep dashboards current.
• Coordinate with sublet functions and ensure timely vehicle movement through production.
