Job summary

Briggs Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Body Shop Estimator to assess vehicle damage and prepare precise repair estimates. The role requires communicating with customers and insurers, ensuring estimates comply with guidelines and provide transparent timelines and costs.

The estimator will use CCC ONE, Mitchell, and Audatex to create detailed reports, coordinate with technicians, and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the repair process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and estimating software.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles to assess required repairs and damages.
• Prepare itemized repair estimates with parts, labor, paint and materials.
• Explain estimates and repair timelines to customers clearly.
• Collaborate with insurance adjusters to secure approvals.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of estimates and repairs.
