Job summary

Balise Auto is seeking an experienced Collision Appraiser to inspect, photograph and appraise damage to vehicles after accidents. You will analyze damage, estimate repairs and prepare insurance forms, working with a team of adjusters and customers to ensure accurate pricing.

The role requires a valid auto damage appraisal license, 3-5 years of experience, and proficiency with CCC Pathways or similar electronic formats. I-CAR certification is a plus, bilingual candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Valid auto damage appraisal license required.
• 3-5 years of auto physical damage appraisal experience.
• I-CAR certification preferred but not required.
• CCC Pathways and/or other electronic appraisal formats required.
• Bi-lingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and appraise damage to vehicles including body, structure, mechanical, electrical and interior components.
• Estimate repairs using repair manuals and technical knowledge to determine parts and labor costs.
• Prepare insurance forms detailing repair costs and additional recommendations.
• Collaborate with team, customers and vendors to ensure efficient service.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and customers to explain damage and pricing.
