Gerber Collision & Glass - Perrin Beitel, San Antonio, TX is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations of the collision center and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will coach a diverse team, manage budgets, supervise production, and ensure safety standards while achieving KPI targets.

The role requires proven leadership in collision repair, strong communication, and a commitment to quality.

• Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan and department goals.
• Prepare and manage annual and monthly operating budgets for the center.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expenses.
• Lead repair facility personnel and conduct staff meetings.
• Monitor A/P and A/R related to the Collision Center.
• Promote safety, maintain shop cleanliness and equipment readiness.

The General Manager plans and implements the daily operations of the Collision Center to ensure that overall KPI’s and insurance metrics are met. They are responsible to coach and empower each team member’s performance and success in their individual roles. The General Manager will promote and maintain the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving all customers, and the General Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members. General Managers are committed to leading by example at all times.Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint boothProvide training for all staff as necessaryEnsure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code.Open and close the facility daily as per established procedures.Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to confirm through-put and delivery datesManage all estimates to ensure labor mix is within established standards. Manage store capacity.Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings .
