Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Sanford, NC is seeking a General Manager to lead the daily operations of the collision center and ensure a superior customer experience while meeting KPI and insurance metrics. You will coach and empower team members, manage budgets, forecast sales and expenses, and maintain safety and quality standards throughout the shop.

Expect a results-driven environment with monthly performance reviews, hands-on leadership, and collaboration with Senior Leadership.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in collision repair.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
• Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
• Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to confirm throughput and delivery dates.
• Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.

The General Manager plans and implements the daily operations of the Collision Center to ensure that overall KPI’s and insurance metrics are met. They are responsible to coach and empower each team member’s performance and success in their individual roles. The General Manager will promote and maintain the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving all customers, and the General Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members. General Managers are committed to leading by example at all times.Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint boothProvide training for all staff as necessaryEnsure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code.Open and close the facility daily as per established procedures.Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to confirm through-put and delivery datesManage all estimates to ensure labor mix is within established standards. Manage store capacity.Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings .
