Job summary

D&S Automotive is seeking an Estimator/Repair Planner to lead vehicle disassembly, inspect damage, and document repairs for accurate estimates. You will coordinate with insurance or customers for approval and help plan repairs based on parts availability and shop capacity.

The role requires at least 3+ years in auto body estimating, CCC One proficiency, and strong communication in a busy collision center. Benefits include medical, PTO, 401(k), and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years auto body estimating in a collision repair setting.
• Proficiency with CCC One or equivalent estimating software.
• Strong computer skills including estimating systems, digital imaging, and office apps.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management in a fast-paced shop.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving/background requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle disassembly and manage damage documentation using the estimating system and digital photos.
• Assist in establishing realistic repair plans based on parts availability and shop volume.
• Create accurate repair estimates for vehicle repairs.
• Explain the repair process, parts used, and expectations clearly to customers.
• Collaborate with Parts Department to obtain required parts for repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
