Job summary

D&S Automotive, a Northeast Ohio collision repair leader headquartered in Mentor, seeks an experienced Estimator/Repair Planner to lead vehicle disassembly, inspect damage, and document repairs. You will create detailed estimates and coordinate with insurers or customers for approvals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in auto body estimating, CCC One proficiency, and strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced shop environment. Monday–Friday schedule with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of auto body estimating experience in a collision repair environment.
• Proficiency with collision estimating software (CCC One or equivalent required).
• Strong computer skills, including estimating systems, digital imaging tools, and basic office applications.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving and background requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle disassembly and manage all damage documentation using the estimating system and digital photos.
• Assist in establishing realistic repair plans based on parts availability and current shop volume.
• Create accurate repair estimates for vehicle repairs.
• Explain the repair process, parts used, and repair expectations to customers in a clear and professional manner.
• Work with the Parts Department to obtain all required parts to complete repairs efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
