Job summary

Phil Long Collision Center is seeking an Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will diagnose and prepare vehicle repair estimates in accordance with insurance partners and company guidelines, ensuring accurate, thorough, and profitable estimates.

As part of the sales and service process, the Estimator greets customers, documents damage, coordinates tear-downs with the Production Manager, and communicates repair options and insurance procedures to customers, aiming for high close rates.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or related experience.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Survey damage on vehicles to create repair estimates and coordinate tear-down with Production Manager.
• Complete estimates promptly and explain the repair process to customers (including insurance procedures).
• Assist Insurance Adjusters and handle add orders with DRPs and Non-DRP's.
• Document all communications and ensure signatures and paperwork are completed in a timely manner.
