Job summary

Kniesel’s Collision - Natomas in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Collison Estimator to write precise repair estimates and serve as the main contact for customers and insurers. The role guides each repair from intake to completion in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will work with body techs and insurance partners, ensuring estimates reflect Kniesel’s standards, while delivering excellent customer service and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a collision estimator or in a related role.
• Knowledge of CCC1, Mitchell, and other collision repair estimating software.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch customer service by explaining repair plans and maintaining open communication throughout the repair process.
• Estimate damages across body, frame, mechanical, and paint operations with accuracy.
• Coordinate with insurance companies to secure approvals and ensure alignment with standards.
• Collaborate with body technicians and team members to manage timelines and deliver high-quality repairs.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure repairs meet Kniesel’s standards and regulatory guidelines.
