Kniesel's Collision – Natomas in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Collision Estimator to write precise repair estimates and serve as the primary contact for customers and insurers throughout the repair process.

The role requires 2+ years of estimating experience, familiarity with CCC1 and Mitchell software, and strong communication skills. Base+commission, full-time, with growth opportunities in a high-quality shop environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a collision estimator or in a related role.
• Strong knowledge of CCC1, Mitchell, and other collision repair estimating software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer service: explain repair plans and maintain open communication with customers throughout the repair process.
• Estimating: perform comprehensive damage assessments and produce detailed repair estimates.
• Insurance coordination: work with insurers to ensure repairs are approved and aligned with standards.
• Team collaboration: coordinate with body technicians to manage timelines and outcomes.
• Compliance & quality control: conduct quality inspections to meet Kniesel’s standards.
