Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Tallahassee, FL is hiring an Estimator in Training to learn estimating and repair planning under a senior estimator. You’ll interact with customers, map vehicle damage, and coordinate with production to build accurate repair orders.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Proficiency with standard computer software and repair documentation systems.
• Solid judgment and ability to make accurate estimates and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and map damage with customers to identify WOW opportunities.
• Prepare and finalize estimates using Repair Planning Template.
• Upload photos and notes to CCC One with arrival time and details.
• Notify production and manage repair queue; verify estimates during teardown.
• Set promise dates and communicate with customers regularly.
• Assist insurance adjusters and re-inspectors as needed.
