Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Tampa, FL is seeking an Estimator who will accurately assess vehicle damage, prepare repairs, and coordinate with customers and insurance companies to ensure a smooth repair process.

You will document interactions, guide customers through the repair steps, participate in daily production walks, and help maintain store KPIs while upholding our standards of service and safety. A valid driver’s license and I-CAR training willingness are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
• Aware of where to find answers to questions.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and plan review.
• Compliance for DRP processes and timelines.
• Willingness to complete I-CAR training.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Document and update customer interactions accurately.
• Provide timely information and guide customers through repairs.
• Coordinate with insurance and internal teams during repair process.
• Communicate requests to the appropriate staff and participate in daily production walks.
• Attend health & safety and staff meetings; help maintain store KPIs.

You control your future.Job Description:The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
