Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Danville, VA is seeking an Estimator to provide a top-tier customer experience by creating accurate vehicle repair estimates and coordinating repair needs with customers and insurance companies.

You will document interactions, guide customers through the repair process, ensure compliance with DRPs and insurance programs, and participate in daily production walks with the management team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CCC1 Estimating System.
• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Awareness of where to look for answers.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Compliance for DRP’s.
• Minimum of 1-year experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with accurate estimates and coordinate repair needs with customers and insurance companies.
• Document all customer interactions accurately and guide them through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and DRP procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with management and assist team as needed.

The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
