Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Longview, TX is seeking an Estimator to deliver a seamless customer experience by accurately assessing vehicle damage and coordinating repairs. You will document estimates, inform customers and insurance providers, and ensure all communications align with shop goals.

The role requires knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines, plus DRP compliance and basic computer skills. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of experience are expected, with I-CAR training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document and update customer interactions accurately.
• Provide customers with accurate information and guide them through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and WOW operating procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with management.
• Attend training sessions and workshops recommended by the Store Manager.
• Support all team members when required.
• Communicate customer requests to appropriate team members.

You control your future.Job Description:The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
