Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a General Manager to lead the Collision Center’s day-to-day operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will drive KPIs, coach each team member, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and safety in servicing customers.

The role requires proven leadership in a collision repair environment, strong communication, and a focus on delivering WOW—our operating standards—for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to motivate others leveraging effective coaching tools and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan is consistently executed.
• Prepare and manage annual and monthly operating budgets for the collision center.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expenses.
• Deliver formal annual and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Monitor Accounts Payable and Receivable related to the Collision Center.
• Maintain a clean, organized repair facility at all times.
• Provide staff training as necessary.
• Open and close the facility daily per procedures.
• Lead daily production meetings to confirm throughput and delivery dates.
• Manage labor mix and store capacity; lead repair facility personnel.
• Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings; attend monthly managers meetings.
