Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, drive exceptional customer experiences, and ensure KPIs and insurance metrics are met within the collision center. You will coach staff, control budgets, and uphold safety and quality standards across the facility.

Responsibilities include overseeing production, managing finances, and coordinating daily meetings to maintain throughput and delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in collision repair or similar environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to coach and empower team members for performance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Prepare and manage annual and monthly operating budgets.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expenses.
• Conduct formal annual and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable for the Collision Center.
• Maintain a clean, organized repair facility at all times.
• Oversee shop equipment maintenance, including paint booth.
• Provide staff training as needed.
• Ensure safety gear usage and dress code adherence.
• Open and close the facility daily.
• Lead daily production meetings and confirm through-put and delivery dates.
• Manage estimates and store capacity to optimize labor mix.
• Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
• Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings; attend managers meetings.
